Curriculum Task Force
The MISIG recognizes gaps and inconsistencies in measurement curricula across rehabilitation science graduate programs in the United States. The MISIG Curriculum Task Force is working to ameliorate these inconsistencies by creating a standard set of components to be used in the design of measurement curricula for graduate programs in rehabilitation science. We are currently gathering information from rehabilitation science programs to describe the state of measurement education with a goal to recommend strategies for the design of consistent curricula.

2020 – 2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Completed all phases of rehabilitation science curriculum study
- Expanded to include a survey study of recent graduates practicing in OT (manuscript in preparation)
2021 – 2022 PLANS & PROJECTS
- Publish manuscript
- Bring expertise and curriculum focus to benefit and expand the work of another Measurement ISIG Task Force
- Two of our task force members defended doctoral milestones
