“On our Task Force, we have healthcare providers, physicians, rehab therapists, psychologists  — and it’s awesome to have all their insights. We have several ongoing projects, and we always welcome new projects. Please join us as a member and at the Annual Conference”

“I’m Juliet Haarbauer-Krupa.

Currently, I am a health scientist on the traumatic brain injury team at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

My background is a speech-language pathologist. I’ve been in the field for close to 40 years and was involved on the original textbook titled, “Head Injury Rehabilitation: Children and Adolescents.” That was written a long time ago.

Over the years, I’ve been consistently trying to bring pediatric topics and projects into ACRM. We started back 10 years ago.

Our first publication was on models of care for children, both healthcare settings and schools. Over time, we’ve done multiple projects.

My co-chair, Dr. Drew Nagele, leads the Pediatric Cognitive Rehabilitation Project, and we have other ones that we work on in our committee, and we’re very lucky to be interdisciplinary.

We have healthcare providers, physicians, rehab therapists, psychologists, and educators all on our committee — and it’s awesome to have all their insights.

Currently, we have several ongoing projects, and we always welcome new projects.

Please consider joining us.

We hope to see you at ACRM at the Annual Conference this fall.

Thank you.”
