She has also reviewed several books and chapters on physical therapy topics for various publishers. Dr. Miller’s research interests include decision making processes of PTs, outcome and theoretical evidence for integrating various complementary and alternative therapies into PT practice. Dr. Miller is currently investigating evidence for the use of “manual guidance” to improve motor learning and motor control and the use of motor and visual imagery. Her teaching responsibilities in the program are in the following content areas: Patient/Client Management I, Motor Control and Motor Learning I and II, and Neuromuscular Physical Therapy.
