Here at ACRM — the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine — we’re committed to providing opportunities for medical networking and sharing rehabilitation research.
From our Annual Conference to the Spring Meeting, we love creating events for members to do just that. And, quickly approaching, is the 2019 Spring Meeting. Read below to learn more about ACRM and the Spring Meeting, and then register to attend.
What is ACRM?
We’ve been around for more than 95 years, and we have more than 3,000 members from more than 65 countries. Our association was created to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities who are in rehabilitation. Through the ACRM journal, Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, networking groups, and events for sharing rehabilitation research, we help our members accelerate their careers and conduct revolutionary research.
What is the ACRM Spring Meeting?
We refer to it as “the secret sauce for your career.” The ACRM Spring Meeting is an event full of instructional courses, medical networking, and in-person collaboration and growth. There will be more than 80 esteemed presenters — with a combined total of more than 1,200 years of experience — who will share their rehabilitation research and experience.
On top of this, we promise that the ACRM Spring Meeting is ridiculously inexpensive. Yes, you read that right. We want this rehabilitation research to be put into practice as soon as possible, and by having a low cost, this is more likely. Early Bird rates are only $49 for members and $99 for non-members.
Why should I attend?
There are many different reasons to attend the ACRM Spring Meeting this year:
- You can earn up to 20 hours of CME/CEUs for 11 disciplines or receive the Certificate of Attendance
- There are more than 28 instructional courses spanning all 11 disciplines
- You can network with other professionals in your field
- You’ll learn from the presenters in your field and in any other classes you can attend
- You can get to know the people in your community group
Where is it?
The Hilton Chicago.
All meetings, classes, and more will be at the Hilton Chicago. You can stay elsewhere, of course, but you can save time, money, and convenience by being right by the action. You can also use the booking code “ACR” to ensure you receive the lowest rates.
When is it?
April 11-14, 2019.
The first day, April 11, is for ACRM community group meetings, while the rest will consist of presenters and instructional courses — including CE for nurses.
