Pearls, Possibilities & Pitfalls:

Writing Successful Grants & Manuscript Submissions

The Early Career Development Course is a perennial favorite at ACRM connecting early career rehabilitation researchers with seasoned professionals. This year’s course focuses on tools for writing successful grants and manuscript submissions. The course will provide opportunities to learn from researchers, funding agency representatives, and journal editors who will provide insights through didactic presentations, panel discussions, one-on-one networking, and small group discussions.

The attendees will be able to focus on the pearls, possibilities, and pitfalls of writing successful grants and manuscripts. We are excited to announce that this year’s Keynote Address will be by Dr. Allen Heinemann, Co-Editor-in-Chief, and Mr. Glenn Collins, Publications Director and Managing Editor of the Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the official journal of ACRM. They will be sharing key strategies in submitting a successful manuscript to the Archives and other rehabilitation journals as part of their keynote address.

In addition to the exciting Keynote speakers, this year’s course continues the rich tradition of delivering a truly outstanding agenda with renowned speakers and panelists. The course will provide opportunities to learn from successful researchers and clinicians in order to refine the skills needed for successful grant and manuscript submissions.
