BI-ISIG Task Force Funding Opportunity
A competitive grant opportunity seeks to fund high-quality projects to be led by BI-ISIG Task Force members. Eligible projects are expected to have a meaningful impact in the field of brain injury rehabilitation.

GUIDELINES
- 1 July 2020 – Funding will begin
- A minimum of $5,000 is available which may be allocated across one or multiple projects depending on the merit, scope, and requested budget.
- Proposed projects must be led by BI-ISIG members and conducted as part of one or more of the BI-ISIG Task Forces.
- Projects must also include at least one Early Career member.
- Preference will be given to projects proposing efficient use of funds for maximum impact, as well as projects that involve at least two BI-ISIG Task Forces.
ALLOWABLE USES OF FUNDS
- Honoraria or fees for outside consultants (e.g., consumers, statisticians, librarians)
- IRB fees required for research projects
- video/ webinar expenses
- product design/ marketing services that are not available through ACRM
- Travel expenses will be considered if they are well-justified and specifically related to the Task Force project
These are just examples; other types of expenses may be proposed.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Recipients of the BI-ISIG Travel Scholarship will not be eligible for travel support under this mechanism during the same award year.
- Reimbursement for time/ effort of ACRM members is not an allowable expense.
- Award recipients will be required to submit bi-annual progress reports at 6 and 12 months post-funding.
