LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the webinar, learners will be able to:

  1. Explore Technological Innovations: Attendees will be able to identify the latest technological advancements, including AI-driven tools and virtual treatment platforms, designed to provide remote therapy. Examples will include conducting evaluations and interventions.
  2. Evaluate Practical Applications: Attendees will be able to discuss how various technologies can be effectively integrated into the daily lives of people recovering from stroke, focusing on enhancing their independence, communication, and overall quality of life.
  3. Facilitate Collaboration and Support: Attendees will be able to describe how to foster a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals, caregivers, and tech developers can share insights and experiences with virtual platforms and AI technologies, aiming to improve support systems and innovative solutions for stroke survivors.

 

ABOUT TIM DIONNE

Tim Dionne, PhD, OTR/L earned his MSOT from the University at Buffalo in 2010 and worked at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now Shirley Ryan Ability Lab) for five years, specializing in adult neurorehabilitation. He then completed the Rehab Science PhD program at the University at Buffalo in 2019. His current research interests are in knowledge translation and dissemination, evidence-based practice, telehealth, AI, and implementation science. He teaches neuroanatomy and applied neuro courses at the University of New Mexico.
