Journal Articles About Rehabilitation Treatment Specification
To learn more about the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (formerly known as the Rehabilitation Treatment Taxonomy), we recommend using the RTSS Bibliography: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/myncbi/1VExifeNp59kM8/collections/63874184/public/
We are using PubMed’s My Bibliography reference tool because it allows users to sort the references by author, publication date, and journal, and you can also save or email the Bibliography.
The RTSS Bibliography includes the following seminal articles published in a special supplement of the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- A Theory-Driven System for the Specification of Rehabilitation Treatments (2019, Jan.)
- The Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System: Implications for Improvements in Research Design, Reporting, Replication, and Synthesis (2019, Jan.)
- Advancing Rehabilitation Practice Through Improved Specification of Interventions (2019, Jan.)
- The Importance of Voluntary Behavior in Rehabilitation Treatment and Outcomes (2019, Jan.)
- Editorial: An End to the Black Box of Rehabilitation? (2019, Jan.)
The RTSS Bibliography only includes articles which utilize the RTSS or promote further understanding of the RTSS. Articles that merely cite the RTSS were excluded.
Your Help To Update the RTSS Bibliography Is Kindly Appreciated
We would like to keep the RTSS Bibliography as current as possible, so if you know of an article that should be included, please contact the RTS NG Communications Chair and include the full reference(s). Only publications in Medline can be added to the RTSS Bibliography at this time (reasons why a publication might not be in the bibliography include: journal is not indexed in Medline, reference format is not included in Medline – like a dissertation).
