The mission of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Networking Cognitive Rehabilitation Task Force Group is to advance practice, education and research related to cognitive rehabilitation in neurodegenerative disorders by producing systematic review of cognitive rehabilitation literature to develop and disseminate guidelines for clinical practice, and conducting continuing education courses for rehabilitation professionals and to advocate for appropriate cognitive rehabilitation interventions for individuals with cognitive impairments caused by Neurodegenerative Diseases.
The task force will foster networking and collaborations among NDNG members interested in reviewing cognitive rehabilitation literature on neurodegenerative populations with the goal of publishing systematic reviews as well as developing and conducting manuals and workshops on cognitive rehabilitation designed specifically for persons with cognitive impairments caused by ND diseases.
