NDNG: ALS Task Force
Mission:
The ALS Task Force (ALSTF) seeks to improve the care and quality of life for those affected by ALS. We will target this mission through two pathways:
- By disseminating the latest advances in ALS knowledge to clinicians, patients, and caregivers
- By promoting research to advance the understanding and treatment of ALS
Goal:
The ALSTF will work towards this mission through the following outputs:
- Conference courses and symposia
- Presentations to the general public
- Publications
- Information and Education pages (IEP)
- Collaborations both within and beyond the ALSTF

How To Participate
Members will participate in monthly meetings to collaborate, track progress towards goals, and to identify new opportunities. They will have opportunities to participate in the submission and presentation of conference courses, symposia, webinars, and other seminars. Additionally, members will have the opportunity to draft and/or review IEPs, letters to the editor, OpEds, and other resources for the community. There will also be opportunities to collaborate on research projects including grant applications.
