Health Policy Task Force

MISSION

The mission of this taskforce is to improve engagement in advocating for impactful disability and rehabilitation health policy and the dissemination of information on current disability and rehabilitation policy and legislation.

CHAIR

GOALS

• Connect ACRM members interested in disability and rehabilitation-related policy by organizing and hosting an annual event that coincides with ACRM’s annual conference (e.g., symposium).
• Organize and disseminate disability and rehabilitation-related policy-updates for ACRM members who are clinicians.
• Engage and enable members of the Health Policy task force and other ACRM task forces to participate in formulating advocacy and/or translation material related to disability and rehabilitation policy and legislation.
• Deliver one written product per year that advances readers’ understanding on how disability and rehabilitation-related policy and legislation impacts clinical practice and research.
