The ACRM Fellows Committee and Board of Governors are pleased to recognize Dr. Jeffrey Wertheimer for his outstanding record of professional service to ACRM and for the nationally significant contributions he has made to the field of medical rehabilitation by conferring on his the designation of ACRM Fellow.

ABOUT JEFFREY WERTHEIMER

Jeffrey Wertheimer, PhD, ABPP-CN, is a board certified Clinical Neuropsychologist and Chief of Psychology and Neuropsychology Services and Associate Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the California Rehabilitation Institute. He is also the Director of Clinical Training of the Neuropsychology Division. Dr. Wertheimer assists with innovative program development at Cedars-Sinai and is active in leadership roles in national and international organizations contributing to inter-professional collaboration in the development of evidence-based practice in neuropsychology and rehabilitative medicine. Dr. Wertheimer has an active role within ACRM spanning almost 2 decades, and is currently involved in several committees, one of which is in the role of Co-Chair of the Behavioral Health Networking Group. Dr. Wertheimer has a variety of clinical and research interests, including movement disorders (the assessment of the cognitive and neuropsychiatric symptoms of Parkinson’s disease), cognitive and functional outcomes in individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injury, psychological adjustment, resilience, and meaning-centered living for individuals with chronic illness, and inter-professional collaboration.
