The ACRM Fellows Committee and Board of Governors are pleased to recognize Tracey Wallace for his outstanding record of professional service to ACRM and for the nationally significant contributions she has made to the field of medical rehabilitation by conferring on his the designation of ACRM Fellow.

ABOUT TRACEY WALLACE

Tracey Wallace, MS, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Clinical Research Scientist with over 20 years of experience helping people with brain injury maximize independence and participation at home, work, school, and in their community. Tracey serves as the Projects & Education Coordinator for the SHARE Military Initiative at Shepherd Center, a comprehensive rehabilitation program serving military service members and Veterans with brain injury, where she oversees program development, clinical education, and research initiatives. She has presented over 100 national/international lectures, trained and supervised numerous SLP interns, and taught SLP graduate students as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on optimizing rehabilitation outcomes through person-centered approaches and developing accessible rehabilitation interventions for people with brain injury, which have resulted in innovative clinical tools and programming, including the SwapMyMood mobile app supporting problem-solving and emotion regulation in people with brain injury and the SUCCESS peer mentoring program for college students with concussion. Tracey serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse, and is a cofounder and Secretary of the Board of the Directors for the Georgia Rehabilitation Services Volunteer Partnership (RSVP) Clinic. She is a founding member, past Chair, and past Secretary of ACRM’s Technology Networking Group and Chair of the ACRM Awards Committee. Tracey led development of ACRM’s LaunchPad technology innovation competition as well as the creation of ACRM’s Pandemic Webinar Series. She has also served on the ACRM Communications Committee and ACRM Programming Committee.
