The ACRM Fellows Committee and Board of Governors are pleased to recognize Dr. Ekaterina Dobryakova for her outstanding record of professional service to ACRM and for the nationally significant contributions she has made to the field of medical rehabilitation by conferring on her the designation of ACRM Fellow.

ABOUT EKATERINA DOBRYAKOVA​

Dr. Dobryakova is a Senior Research Scientist at Kessler Foundation Center for Traumatic Brain Injury. She is trained as a cognitive neuroscientist and is the Principal Investigator of the NeuroMotivation and Network Integrity lab. She conducts clinical research in populations with cognitive dysfunction caused by traumatic brain injury (TBI) and multiple sclerosis (MS). Her research focuses on the functioning of the fronto-striatal network during outcome processing using functional magnetic resonance imaging. In addition, her research examines the role these regions play in depression and fatigue that so many individuals with TBI and MS experience. For her research work, Dr. Dobryakova has been previously recognized by the International Neuropsychological Society for early independent research contribution and scientific achievements in research in the field of neuropsychology receiving the Early Career Award in February 2019. She has an extensive publication record as well as funding record by private, federal, and state agencies (National Multiple Sclerosis Society, New Jersey Health Foundation, and National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), New Jersey Commission on Brain Injury Research, respectively). Dr. Dobryakova is honored to participate in the ACRM community and is humbled to receive the Fellow of ACRM designation.
