The ACRM Fellows Committee and Board of Governors are pleased to recognize Dr. Hannes Devos for his outstanding record of professional service to ACRM and for the nationally significant contributions he has made to the field of medical rehabilitation by conferring on him the designation of ACRM Fellow.

ABOUT HANNES DEVOS
Dr. Devos is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science and Athletic Training at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is Director of the Laboratory for Advanced Rehabilitation Research in Simulation (LARRS). His research interests focus on the effects of cognitive impairments on mobility (balance, gait, and driving) in older adults with neurodegenerative conditions. He is particularly interested in electrophysiological and pupillary responses to cognitive-motor interference in individuals with Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Devos has been funded consistently by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Transportation, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Parkinson’s Foundation. He is the Co-Chair of the Parkinson’s Disease and Related Disorders Task Force and the Cognition in Aging Task Force of the American College of Rehabilitation Medicine. He is section editor of the Open Access Archives in Rehabilitation Research and Clinical Translation and has published over 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
