Members from our Movement Interventions Task Force recently had a paper published in the Open Journal of OT, an open access journal, entitled:
- Use of Standardized Assessments and Online Resources in Stroke Rehabilitation. The article by Susan H. Lin, ScD, OTR/L, FAOTA; Pamela Rogers Bosch, PT, DPT, PhD; Veronica Rowe, PhD, OTR/L, FNAP; Susan Fasoli, ScD, OTR/L and Jeanne Langan, PT, PhD, looks at the use of movement-related standardized assessments and online resources in stroke rehabilitation.
Members from our Vision Task Force published two articles:
- Survey-Based Investigation of Practice Implications for Vision Assessment: An Initial Look at Eye-Hand Coordination Testing by Kimberly Hreha, EdD, OTR/L; John Ross Rizzo, MD, MSCI; Andrew Abdou, MD; Lyna Truong, BA; Jeffrey Wertheimer, PhD; Min Jeong Park Graf, MD; Jennifer Kaldenberg, DrPH, MSA, OTR/L, SCLV, FAOTA; Imelda Llanos, MS, OTR/L and Pamela Roberts, PhD, OTR/L, SCFES, FAOTA, CPHQ, FNAP was published in the Annals of International Occupational Therapy and discusses the need for knowledge of EHC assessments and their psychometric properties.
- Kimberly Hreha, Peii Chen, Jennifer LaRosa, Christopher Santos, Cindy Gocon, and A.M Barrett published, Implementing a rehabilitation protocol for spatial neglect assessment and treatment in an acute care hospital in which they evaluated the feasibility and sustainability to the Kessler Foundation Neglect Assessment Process (KF-NAP) and the Kessler Foundation Prism Adaptaion Treatment (KF-PAT) protocols in an acute care hospital.
