Power Up newsletter by ACRM Technology Networking Group

2025 Fall

Hello from the Chair!

Chair of TNG

Lauren Sheehan, OTD, OTR/L
Senior Director, Clinical Services
Kandu Health

Hello TNG Members and Friends,

There’s a lot of good energy in our group right now, and we’re excited to share what’s been happening. We’re welcoming new leadership to help with our newsletter and social media which means bringing fresh ideas, more ways to stay connected, and a little extra heart to how we share our stories.

Our MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) project on Advanced Rehabilitation Technology in conjunction with IISART is coming along, with steady progress toward creating a resource we know will be meaningful for our community. And the Launch Pad entries this year were impressive,  thoughtful, creative, and innovative! There’s so much we’re excited to share at Conference 2025.

It’s a joy to see so many people contributing their time, talents, and ideas.  If there’s a way you’d like to see this group engage or share information, please bring your ideas forward. Thank you for being part of our community!

Dear TNG members,

I am honored to step into the role of TNG chair later this year, carrying forward the baton from Lauren, whose dedication has laid a strong foundation for our community. I am very glad that Lauren will continue to be active in the group.

Having been associated with TNG for the past eight years, it is inspiring to see this group grow in scope and relevance within ACRM and I am excited to continue the trajectory! As we build on that momentum, I am looking forward to working with other ACRM networking groups and expanding our external collaborations.

This group is all about open conversations and meaningful connections- whether you are here to explore new partnerships, share what you know, or just want to connect with peers who energize and inspire you.

Thank you for being part of the community. I look forward to connecting with you at ACRM 2025 and keep the conversations going well beyond it!
