Noninvasive Stimulation Task Force
Mission:
Facilitate knowledge translation among researchers and clinicians with interest in the application of noninvasive stimulation modalities for enhancing neuroplasticity & advance the knowledge and understanding of noninvasive stimulation modalities and their role in neurorehabilitation.
Current Projects:
- Developing I/EP focused on tDCS application for neurorehabilitation
Objectives and Goals:
- Provide education to increase understanding of: 1) the theoretical principles underlying the use of noninvasive stimulation for increasing neuroplasticity, and 2) the application basics of noninvasive stimulation modalities.
- Develop recommendations for standardized reporting procedures for application of novel noninvasive stimulation modalities.
- Discuss common barriers to the implementation of noninvasive stimulation modalities in the clinical setting and work towards facilitating clinical implementation.
