ABOUT Rachel Prusynski
Rachel Prusynski is a physical therapist with a clinical focus on complex geriatric and neurologic populations and health services researcher whose work emphasizes relationships between health policy, care delivery, and patient outcomes in post-acute care, especially skilled nursing facilities. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound and her PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Washington. Rachel co-directs the Advancing Health Services & Policy In Rehabilitation (ASPIRe) Lab at the University of Washington and is an Investigator with the UW Center for Health Workforce Studies. Her work has been funded by the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, the National Institutes of Health, and the Health Resources and Services Administration.
ABOUT Tracy Mroz
Tracy Mroz is a health services researcher whose research agenda focuses on the impact of policy and delivery systems on access to and quality of post-acute care with a focus on home health and care provided in rural communities. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and her PhD in Health Services Research and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Mroz is Co-Director of the Advancing Health Services & Policy In Rehabilitation (ASPIRe) Lab, a multidisciplinary lab within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, and is an Investigator with the WWAMI Rural Health Research Center and the UW Center for Health Workforce Studies. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the Health Resources and Services Administration.
