Mission
The task force on Integrative Complimentary Medicine for Veteran and Active Duty Special Forces aims to enhance knowledge of the overall well-being and health outcomes of these individuals by incorporating holistic and evidence-based practices. This initiative focuses on complimentary integrative medicine such as acupuncture, yoga, meditation, and nutritional counseling. By addressing both physical and brain health needs, the task force seeks to provide comprehensive information that supports resilience, recovery, and optimal performance.
Goal
The task force will create a framework of the existing literature within the domains of complementary and integrative medicine for this population and produce information-education consumer-focused pages regarding each integrative medicine practice.
