“Association Between Physical Therapy and Risk of Coronary Artery Disease and Dyslipidemia Among Osteoarthritis Patients: A Nationwide Database Study”

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Huan-Jui Yeh is a graduate of National Yang-Ming University School Of Medicine. He trained at Taoyuan General Hospital, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation during his residency, where he directs now. Dr. Yeh also provided remote medical care service at 4 rural hospitals in Taiwan. After that, He commits himself to public health research, and do his best to eliminate barriers of medical utilization and to diminish health unfair.

Dr. Yeh is a member of Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. His practice focuses on Orthopedic Rehabilitation, especially sports medicine and the occupational injuries of musicians owing to his interest in ball games and string music. So that he provides several free medical services for young athletes and musicians sometimes.

As the first author of “Association Between Physical Therapy and Risk of Coronary Artery Disease and Dyslipidemia Among Osteoarthritis Patients: A Nationwide Database Study”, he is convinced that physical therapy can not only treat osteoarthritis but decreases the risks of coronary artery disease. Just like the study, Dr. Yeh believes that rehabilitation is not only a tool to avoid disability, but also a way to prevent other disease.
