FEATURED SESSION: Mind-Body Medicine: The Central Park Jogger’s Healing to Wholeness

PRESENTERS

Trisha E. Meili, MA, MBA
Writer, Speaker, Advocate, I Am the Central Park Jogger: A Story of Hope and Possibility

SESSION DESCRIPTION

In April 1989, Trisha Meili went out for a run in New York City’s Central Park and was savagely beaten, raped and left for dead. Doctors despaired for her life and a horrified nation cried out in pain and outrage. Fourteen years later, she revealed her amazing story of survival and recovery in her best selling memoir, I AM THE CENTRAL PARK JOGGER: A Story of Hope and Possibility.

Trisha Will share how her journey of healing clearly linked the mind, body and spirit and taught her to look at healing in a new way. She will offer lessons that allowed her to move beyond being a victim, reclaim her life and become whole.
