Mark Pedrotty, PhD is a professor in Pediatrics at UNM-HSC. He received his PHD from Loyola University of Chicago with a subspecialization in child clinical. He completed his internship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. After several years of clinical practice as a clinical psychologist in San Antonio, Texas he retreaded in pediatric rehabilitation and has worked at Carrie Tingley Hospital at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico for nearly 21 years. The majority of his time is spent providing outpatient clinical services to children and young adults living with chronic illness, medical conditions, and disabilities, including brain injury. Part of his time is spent teaching undergraduates, medical students, residents, and professionals. He is medical director of the Integrative Cognitive Rehabilitation TeleECHO clinic through Project ECHO and a board member of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Mexico.
