BIO

Dr. Cindy Gauthier is a physical therapist and a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physical Therapy of the University of Toronto. She completed her master and PhD at the School of Rehabilitation of Université de Montréal. Dr. Gauthier was awarded with The Rick and Amanda Hansen Fellowship, in partnership with Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation and Rick Hansen Institute. During her post-doctoral fellowship, she is studying the effects of electrical stimulation during functional activity and physical activity trainings among individuals with spinal cord injury. She has also clinical experience in delivering therapy using FES for various therapeutic goals for individuals living with a neurological condition.
