BIO

Dr. Mark is a Board-Certified Neurologist, Associate Professor of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with secondary appointments to the Departments of Neurology and Psychology. He obtained his MD degree at Albany Medical College, completed his Neurology residency at New York University, and a research fellowship in Behavioral Neurology at the University of Florida. Dr. Mark has held clinical and academic neurological rehabilitation positions for the past 33 years. He has been the Principal Investigator of several clinical trial grants for multiple sclerosis funded by the NIH, Consortium of MS Centers, and the National MS Society. He has been the Medical Director for the UAB Functional Neurological Disorders Clinic for the past 3 years.
