BIO

Angie Jackson, MS-CCC/SLP, MBA, CBIST holds master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Business from Missouri State University. She has practiced in multiple settings and has been at Pate Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX since 2003 focusing on her area of greatest interest, brain injury. She initially came to Pate Rehabilitation as a Program Manager for the Residential Program which included managing, training and providing on-going education for the residential staff. She has worked in the Marketing Department since 2006, initially as a clinical liaison and then as the Manager of Clinical Admissions. She worked with the clinical liaisons and external referral sources to educate patients and families on the program and navigate the process of admission to Pate Rehabilitation. She has recently taken on the task of clinical educator and patient advocate. She has a good understanding of the Texas state mandates and how they impact individuals with brain injuries and their coverage on their insurance policies. She has been involved in many committees such as The Texas Walk for Brain Injury in 2011; The Brain Injury Business and Professional Council, co-chair of the membership committee and on the Brain Injury Business Practice College planning committee since 2014. As a CBIST, she has also been instrumental in the training and certification of numerous staff as CBIS over the years.
