ABOUT NEELA SWANSON
Neela Swanson, BA, is ASHA’s director of health care policy for coding and reimbursement. She is a resource for ASHA members regarding coding and reimbursement and works with the ASHA Health Care Economics Committee, American Medical Association CPT Editorial Panel and Relative Value Update Committee, ASHA members, and other specialty societies as an advocate for Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding issues related to audiology and speech-language pathology.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify telepractice resources for speech-language pathologists
- Describe billing and coding for speech-language pathology telepractice services
- Discuss coverage and payment considerations related to speech-language pathology telepractice services across payers
