Dr. Niehaus is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and has a focus on neuro-rehabilitation and working with patients who have suffered a spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, or stroke.
In addition to seeing patients in intensive care and on the rehabilitation unit, he has a twice-weekly outpatient clinic. Also very involved with the CU Denver residency program as the Associate Program Director.
He is also the PM&R provider in the University of Colorado ICU recovery and Post COVID clinic. Additionally serves as the co-founder and president of a free clinic for uninsured rehabilitation patients who suffered catastrophic injuries (www.ColoradoRSVPclinic.org) and is the ACRM RehabCast Digital Editor and host.
