ACRM signed its first international Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (CARM) last December 2017 in Beijing, China. Leighton Chan, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the ACRM Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Fofi Constantinidou, Chair of the ACRM International Networking Group were among those in attendance representing ACRM.

CARM consists of 20,000 members and 37 scientific groups. The association’s main aim is to upgrade science and provide better quality rehabilitation services to the people of China.
