Most Downloaded Systematic Review with Meta-Analysis Award

 

This award recognizes the systematic review paper published in the Archives of PM&R that has received the most downloads/views. Eligible papers will be those that appeared in a print issue of the Archives, including any supplement issue, five years prior to the year the award will be presented. For example, the 2020 award will be given to a paper published in a 2015 issue of the Archives. Usage will be determined using the data provided by our publisher Elsevier and downloads/views will be counted through March of the year the award is presented.  The executive editorial board members of the Archives (Drs. Chan, Heinemann and Hoenig) will not be eligible for this award if they are the first author on the paper.

PRESENTATION LOCATION OF THE AWARD

The awardee will be presented with a certificate of recognition for this award via e-mail. The awardee will also be recognized in print in the Archives of PM&R in an issue published during or around the time of the conference. Additionally, the awardee will be recognized at the editorial board meeting at the annual conference. The awardee will be invited to attend this meeting for recognition but it will not be required.

 

CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION

A paper certificate recognizing the awardee will be presented.

 

PROCESS

The executive editorial board of the Archives of PM&R will identify the paper with the greatest number of downloads/views within a 5 year period preceding the award year. Downloads/Views will be counted through March of the year the award is presented. Eligible papers will be those that appeared in a print issue of the Archives, including any supplement issue, five years prior to the year the award will be presented. For example the 2020 award will be given to a paper published in a 2015 issue of the Archives.

The paper with the most downloads/views according to our publisher data will be chosen as the recipient of the award. A representative from the executive editorial board will inform the recipient of their award.
