BIO

Linnestad is an Occupational therapist and has been working at Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital since 1994. She is a specialist in Somatic Health Care. Her special interests within rehabilitation are spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitation. She is working as a senior Occupational therapist at the Unit of Competency regarding acquired brain injuries; TBI and stroke. At Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital she is especially concerned with Cognitive Rehabilitation of patients in subacute and chronic phase. One of her main tasks is knowledge translation and implementation of evidence based knowledge into practice. The latest years she has been working on implementation of the ACRM Rehabilitation Manual within clinic and at organizational level. She is also working on her Master of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Health Science where she is concerned with a qualitative study on mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injuries and return to work. This master thesis is part of a RCT study titled: Effect evaluation of combined cognitive and vocational interventions after mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injury: a randomized controlled trial and qualitative process evaluation.
