BIO

Dr. April Groff is a licensed neuropsychologist and is the Regional Program Director for Learning Services. She overseas Learning Services Neurobehavioral Institute-East and the Post-Acute Residential Neurorehabilitation Program in Raleigh, NC. Both programs serve adults with moderate to severe brain injuries as they transition from hospital to home. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Boston University. She completed her predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Prior to her current role, Dr. Groff worked as staff neuropsychologist within the VA Polytrauma System of Care, followed by serving as the Program Director of the Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program at VAPAHCS
