BIO
Brad Kurowski, MD, MS is a rehabilitation medicine physician with expertise in brain injury medicine and pediatric rehabilitation medicine. His overriding passion is to develop innovative solutions that help individuals, teams, and organizations cultivate their passion, develop, and thrive. He believes that through coaching, mindful leadership, understanding, and teamwork/collaboration, transformative aspirations and goals can be realized. His research interests include understanding how individual, injury/disease-related, and socio-environmental factors influence health, functioning, and wellness and how medical, behavioral, physical therapy, lifestyle, and other interventions, individually and in combination, can be used to optimize health and wellness after injury and in disease. Further, he is interested in how neuroscience principles can be applied to develop and cultivate high-functioning, creative, and innovative teams. Currently, Dr. Kurowski is an associate professor and co-director of the Brain Recovery after INjury (BRAIN) Health and Wellness Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center within the Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
