Sarah Herron, MOT, OTR/L is the lead occupational therapist at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital part of Northwestern Medicine. She has 13 years of experience with specialization in working with people following stroke including 9 years as a Master Clinician in stroke rehabilitation. Sarah has particular interest in visual and upper extremity rehabilitation following stroke. She was published in Topics in Stroke Rehab related to vision assessment following stroke. She is also currently the primary investigator in a randomized control trial assessing the effectiveness approaches to upper extremity recovery following stroke. Additionally, Sarah has provided a variety of professional presentations at numerous state conferences, universities and as part of Marianjoy’s Professional Learning Institute on topics related to stroke rehabilitation.
