Don’t miss the 2019 Early Career Development Course at ACRM! This year’s course theme is “Promoting Your Research to Secure Collaborators, Funding, and Career Advancement.” The course aims to help you gain the tools to effectively promote yourself and your science.

This year’s keynote speaker is nationally-recognized clinician-researcher and winner of the ACRM Excellence in Cancer Rehabilitation Award, Dr. Julie K. Silver, who will present on “Opportunities to Advance the Dissemination and Implementation of Rehabilitation Research”. Come prepared to learn how to use multiple mediums to market yourself and your body of work.

We will also have a variety of scholar panels to meet your needs, where you will gain knowledge on how to effectively use career development plans to promote career advancement, learn the ins and outs of communicating your research in the digital world, get updates from several federal grant representatives, and gain insight from early career and established professionals.

We are honored to have a superstar line up with Dr. Sandra Kletzel, PhD, this year’s ACRM Women in Neurodegenerative Diseases Award winner, as well as Dr. Angela Colantonio, PhD, OT. Reg. (Ont.) this year’s ACRM Women in Rehabilitation Science Award recipient.
