The Cognitive Rehabilitation Task Force is happy to report that we have completed writing the Cognitive Rehabilitation Manual and Textbook – 2nd Edition.  Amy Rosenbaum, PhD, FACRM and Rebecca Eberle, MA, CCC-SLP, BC-ANCDS, FACRM who have served as textbook managing editors, have capably led this effort. The new manual has 11 chapters, which were written by 9 primary authors and 22 contributing authors representing three disciplines from three different countries. The manual is now in the process of being handed over to the publisher. The task force will now begin working collaboratively with ACRM to develop a companion website.  We are also currently working on updating and revamping the Cognitive Rehabilitation Training Program.  Beyond incorporating the latest evidence, both the manual and training program will include a widely expanded range of content, practical tools and resources for clinicians and graduate level students working with brain injury.
