Telehealth COVID 19 & Beyond: Policy Updates, Resources, Tools and Case Uses

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal and state governments implemented multiple waivers and policies allowing practice provisions to telehealth services. Now as the economy starts to reopen, both providers and consumers will have to navigate how to best continue clinical rehabilitation and habilitation services. This webinar will provide an overview of current policy, technology, administrative and clinical guidelines, and will offer planning strategies for combining in-person visits with online visits.

ABOUT TAMMY RICHMOND

Ms. Richmond is a leading expert in clinical rehabilitation and wellness services with over 30 years of experience. She is a consultant in practice operations and management, and an entrepreneur and leader in advancing emerging practice areas, including telehealth. Ms. Richmond served as Chair of the Telerehabilitation Special Interest Group of the American Telemedicine Association and has co-authored national and international standards and guidelines and spearheaded policy initiatives to facilitate telehealth innovation, practice adoption and reimbursement. Ms. Richmond is a recognized expert and mentor in private practice, entrepreneurship, marketing, reimbursement, and policy. She is the author of a best-selling practice management textbook. Overall, she has authored 20 professional publications, has given over 100 professional presentations, and guest lectures year-round at leading teaching institutions. She has dedicated the last 15 years to volunteer leadership and service in state and national professional organizations.
