Patient Resources & Advocacy Task Force

 

The LRRNG Patient Resources & Advocacy Task Force will work to provide education to people with limb loss and the general public on:

  • Policies affecting access to appropriate care
  • Abandonment issues and goal setting

The motivation for this is the importance for people to understand policies and actions that are happening that affect their healthcare and life and the lives of those around them.

Future projects for this task force include working on a national rehabilitation team find for people with limb loss and working towards alternative payment models for prosthetic care.
