The Pediatric Rehabilitation Networking Group, now officially in our third year, continues to grow and expand in our membership and activities. Angela Ciccia and Cristina Sadowsky are the co-chairs of the group. We are currently looking for a communications officer.  If you are a member of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Networking Group and are looking for a way to get involved – this might be a good fit! NEW Pediatric Rehabilitation Webinar Series

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Networking Group is actively collaborating with the Pediatric/Adolescent TBI Task Force of the BI-ISIG to put together a webinar/podcast series dedicated to pediatric rehabilitation! We conducted four initial interviews at the Mid-Year Meeting that will be used to launch this series. If you would like to contribute as a guest, or if you have suggestions for guests you would like to hear, please email Angela Ciccia.

 

Inaugural Pediatric Rehabilitation Award Lecture

We are thrilled to announce that our inaugural Pediatric Rehabilitation Award Lecture will be held on Thursday, 3 November at the ACRM Annual Conference in Chicago. This year, Dr. Vogel will be our speaker. Dr. Vogel is widely recognized for his work in pediatric spinal cord injury and will speak on the topic of long-term outcomes for this population. We have also requested the ability to sponsor a pediatric rehabilitation poster award at the Annual Conference in October. This is currently under administrative consideration. Please make sure to submit you pediatric posters so that we can have a robust selection process.  A call for late-breaking research will provide a second window of opportunity to submit a poster proposal later this summer.
